Adrienne Rosel Bulinski is scheduled to deliver several entertaining, uplifting, and motivating messages throughout Kansas while on tour with KSHSAA for the Student Council Regional Conferences. Bulinski is a Kansas native, award winning motivational speaker, former Miss Kansas, entertainer, and the author of Blood Sweat & Tiaras. She will be at the eight regional conferences across the state as well as four additional schools during the nine-day tour through the sunflower state. Tour schedule is below.
“I’m really excited to team up with KSHSAA in order to make a positive impact on teens,” Bulinski commented. “During the tour I will be delivering my signature message Perseverance with Grit that teaches a four step approach to finding success in life and how to overcome adversity. After the keynote, I will conduct a 50-minute follow-up session that puts those elements into action.” Bulinski is on a mission to change the lives of teens “one kiddo at-a-time” by instilling in them the tools to develop a fierce self-confidence and the know-how to persevere. Through her programs she teaches that with the right mind-set, proper amount of determination and stubbornness, even life’s worst days can be overcome with a positive attitude.
Bulinski’s messages are delivered as much of a performance as an educational opportunity. Her programs are designed to help audiences realize their potential and then turn that potential into a reality. Bulinski challenges audiences to think… to really think, and to think big. “Another important part of what I do: help audiences understand failure is part of success. Without failure we cannot truly know success,” Bulinski said.
Bulinski’s stories are influenced by a vast array of experiences including time wearing the Miss Kansas crown, performing with the USO Show Troupe, New York City auditions and rejections, re-learning how to walk at the age of twenty-four, receiving a full ankle replacement at thirty, and coping with depression. Bulinski is originally from Liberal and holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communications as well as a Minor in Theatre from the University of Kansas. She lives in Denver with her husband.
